Life Began In A Garden

The weather in Georgia this week has been wonderful! I find it hard to sit and sew when it is the perfect weather to be in the garden. So many of the great sayings remind me of the flowers that need to be taken care of. I often tell people that sewing is an addiction and others would say gardening is too. I know I am at peace working there. “Gardening tills the my soul.” Hope you can get out and play in the dirt.

I want to let you know about a great site, Southern Bell Soap Company at http://www.sbsoap.com/. Before I play in the dirt I use their “Bug Off” soap or lotion stick, then I don’t have to worry about the mosquitoes or ticks. No nasty chemicals either…yeah! Then ask them about their best kept secret “Heels and Hands” lotion sticks. I bought it because my hands take a beating sewing and gardening and it keeps them smooth. And then there are the other products……I promise you will not be disappointed. Bob and Linda have a beautiful farm where they raise the goats for the milk used in their products. They are always coming up with new ways to make our skin look it's best. Ask them about the link to view a slide show of their farm.

On the right are two garden related products. For more visit us at http://www.blueskiescreations.com/

New Beginnings

Spring shows are over and now the fun begins.  Now is when we make plans for all the things we want to create for the upcoming fall. New sayings for pictures and pillows. Dolls and bears to bring to life. And my favorite holiday decorations of santas and snowmen of every kind.  We will sit on the porch and let our imagination run wild...then begin to work again.

Don't forget to pick up your copy of the June/July Country Sampler Magazine and look for our two ads.

Sit back and enjoy reading our sayings and looking at our products at
